About
Partnerships are one of the main pillars of Poli Finance and one of the ways we train our members. Through them, group members take part in structured projects throughout the semester within our three cells: Investment Banking, Asset Management and Private Equity. Each of these areas is tutored by a partner firm, providing a practical and in-depth immersion in the financial market. In this way, Poli Finance reinforces its mission to train highly qualified professionals, connected to market demands and prepared to act with long-term impact.
Asset Management
Poli Finance's Asset Management cell focuses on training members in asset analysis and portfolio management. The project lasts about 4 months, starting during the vacations with technical training and market studies. During the school term, there are weekly meetings to present sector, company and valuation reports. In addition, the members meet to discuss papers on risk and portfolio management. The Head coordinates deliveries and maintains contact with the manager. Currently, in the Asset cell, Poli Finance is accompanied by Tenax Capital, one of the country's leading independent managers. The project analyzes Marcopolo (POMO4), exploring its fundamentals, market prospects and investment evaluation.

Investment Banking
Poli Finance's Investment Banking cell trains members in company and transaction analysis. The project lasts around 4 months, starting during the vacations with training and prospecting for opportunities. During the school term, there are monthly meetings with the partner house to structure the Investment Case, covering sectors, companies, transactions and valuation. In addition, there are internal discussions on IB papers, with material defined by the Head, who also coordinates deliveries and maintains contact with the partner. The project provides practical and technical experience that is essential for working in the financial market. Currently, in the Investment Banking cell, Poli Finance is accompanied by UBS BB, one of the main investment banking houses. This semester's project is an analysis of the merger between Alpargatas and Vulcabras.

Private Equity
Poli Finance's Private Equity cell trains members in analyzing investments in companies, structuring operations and creating value. The project lasts around 4 months, starting during the vacations with technical training and market studies. During the school term, there are monthly meetings with the partner house to delve into topics such as valuation, due diligence, financial modeling and exit strategies. In addition, there are internal discussions on papers and real cases, promoting knowledge exchange.
